There is a need for stakeholders in each specific country to develop their own design based on national priorities, their national economy, labour market and unemployment. <p></p> It is strongly recommended that developing countries conduct actuarial evaluations at regular intervals to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of their unemployment protection schemes and identify any deficiencies.
