dc.description.abstract<p>The expert group meeting was held at Pattaya, Thailand, from 4 to 6 August 1982. the objectives of the meeting were threefold, namely, to assess the impact of domestic policy and planning measures in response to international trade instability problems; to identify and suggest national policy and planning options, as well as bilateral and multilateral arrangements to overcome these problems; and to consider follow-up studies and other activities that might be taken up by the ESCAP secretariat.</p>
